In previous newsletters I have discussed the importance of adding value to your brand or business by initiating engagement; offering incentives to clients through social media. Facebook promotions and sweepstakes guidelines had previously stated that a business page has to utilize a 3rd party application in order to run a promotion. According to the new guidelines this is no longer the case.
Now a business can create a promotion on the business page timeline directly. Engaging the audience to “Like” and “Comment” in order to enter is accepted as well. Since this new change has gone into effect there is no better time to think about offers your business can give away to maintain the value of your Facebook fans.
